Jammu (VMS): Vigilance Organization Jammu today filed a charge sheet in case FIR No. 12/2013 P/S VOJ U/s 5(1) (c) r/w 5(2) J&K P.C Act 2006 BK, 12/14, 13/15 Public men and Public Servant Declaration of Assets and other Provisions Act 1983 r/w 168 & 120-B RPC against Suresh Kumar Rekhi  then DGM, JKPCC S/o Shri Om Parkash Rekhi R/O 35/2, Channi Himmat Jammu for misusing his official position and earned huge amount of money through illegal means by way of commission from contractors and suppliers by even compromising the quality of work and thereby raised huge assets disproportionate to his known source of income.

During secret verification conducted into the allegations has revealed that Suresh Kumar Rekhi, DGM, J&K Project Construction Corporation, JKPCC by indulging in corrupt and illegal practices has amassed wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income, a VOJ spokesman said Valley Media Service in a statement.

For the above acts of omission and commission on the part then DGM Suresh Kumar Rekhi Case FIR No. FIR No. 12/2013 U/s 5(1) (e) r/w 5(2) J&K P.C Act was registered and investigation started.

Upon the conclusion of investigation the challan of the said case has been produced in the Court of Special Judge Anti Corruption Jammu against Suresh Kumar Rekhi and his wife Kumud Rekhi.

Meanwhile, Verification conducted into the allegations of selling of Shamlat land in excess from the share of the beneficiaries at Village Gharota Jammu revealed that Sher Singh then Patwari Halqa Gharota (now expired), Shri Baldev Raj then Girdawar Gharota, Maqbool Mohd then Patwari Gharota, Haji Mohd Hussain then Naib Tehsildar Gharota and Vijay Kumar then Naib Tehsildar Gharota revealed that the aforesaid accused persons misused their official positions and with ulterior motive issued 14 No. of Revenue extracts (Fard Intikhabs) by disproportionately changing the possession of 49 kanals of Shamlat Land located in Khasra No. 1121 in favour of five beneficiaries namely Parveen Singh, Shivdev Singh, Baldev Singh, Narinder Singh and Sanjay Kumar all residents of village Gharota, a VOJ spokesman said Valley Media Service in a statement. For the above acts of omission and commission on the part of the accused officials and private beneficiaries, Case FIR No. FIR No. 23/2012 u/s 5(1) (d) r/w 5(2) J&K P.C Act 2006 and Section 467,468,420 and 120-B RPC was registered and investigation started.

Upon the conclusion of investigation, the challan of the said case has been produced in the Court of Special Judge Anti Corruption Jammu against Maqbool Mohd then Patwari Gharota, Baldev Raj then Girdawar Gharota, Haji Mohd Hussain then Naib Tehsildar Gharota, Vijay Kumar then Naib Tehsildar Gharota and private beneficiaries Parveen Singh, Shivdev Singh, Baldev Singh, Narinder Singh and Sanjay Kumar all residents of Gharota.
